This page explains the current website enquiry process. WineInvestments.com.au is a trading name of Cellars.com.au Pty Ltd, ABN 14 684 443 392.

Your brief is prepared in your browser. Completing the steps does not send it, create an account or make a purchase. The submission happens only when you select “Send enquiry” on the review screen.

What we collect and why

The form sends your name, email address, optional phone number, Australian state or territory, collection goal, budget range, timing and notes. It records your age confirmation and agreement to be contacted about the enquiry, with a submission date and reference number.

Cellars.com.au Pty Ltd uses that information to handle your wine sourcing request and contact you about it. The form does not sign you up to a marketing list or authorise a purchase.

Where the enquiry is stored

Successful submissions are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database connected to this website. They are not published on the site. Access is controlled through the business’s Cloudflare account, not a public list or search endpoint.

Cloudflare provides the website and database infrastructure and processes the requests needed to operate them. Do not assume that every infrastructure or support process is limited to Australia. We do not promise Australian-only data residency.

The enquiry record is retained for the team to handle your request. Ask the team about access, corrections, deletion or its retention practices using the contact details below. This website does not offer an automatic deletion schedule for enquiry records.

Abuse prevention

The submission service checks required fields, limits request size and restricts repeated submissions. It stores a date-dependent hash of connection information in a separate rate-limit table, not the raw IP address in your enquiry record.

Old rate-limit entries are removed during subsequent accepted submissions after approximately 24 hours. Cloudflare may separately process security and connection logs under its service practices.

Website services

The site loads its typefaces from Fontshare. Requests to load pages, fonts and other resources involve infrastructure providers receiving connection information such as an IP address. This is separate from submitting the completed enquiry.

A functional cookie named wi_theme remembers your light or dark theme across pages and visits for up to a year. It contains only “light” or “dark”, not your enquiry details. Changing your preference updates it; clearing website data removes it. If cookies are blocked, the toggle still works for the current page.

This version does not include an advertising pixel or an analytics tag. Cloudflare may use security cookies or logging. This notice does not claim that every network, browser or email service involved in your visit is free of tracking or logs.

Share only what the enquiry needs

Do not include payment-card information, identity documents or a detailed list of valuable bottles and their exact storage location in the initial form. You can begin with preferences, approximate quantities, budget and general location.
